I love when someone has not just one style, but a variety of different styles. Antonella is no exception. When I first got to know her, I was surprised that she was actually interested in vintage fashion. As we kept talking I realized that she was a fellow fashionista and I’m glad we finally get to have her as our Wearable Women Wednesday! In this edition, we get to feature three distinctly different outfits from Antonella to show that her style isn’t confined to just one type.
Welcome back everyone! Sorry we’ve been lagging with content as of recently, but we’re back this week with the first Campus Search Tuesday of the quarter! Check it out to see if you made it!
Part Two is now here! Here we look at some of the fashions in the afternoon as well as in the the Dapper Day Expo in the Grand Californian! We even had the chance to take a picture with Justin Jorgensen, the creator of Dapper Day!
Here it is. The most well dressed bi-annual event of the year: Dapper Day. This is a day where people go to disneyland dressed to the nines, whether that be through disneybounding (where you dress as a disney character in normal clothes), going vintage, or just being classy! Here’s the first part of some of our favourite outfits!
This week’s Wearable Women Wednesday features the lovely Lara!
A few weeks ago, I was able to watch Kingsman, a British spy/comedy movie. In the movie, Colin Firth’s character “Galahad” (his Kingsman codename), repeatedly said “manners maketh man” before he kicked some bad guy butt. Throughout the film, there were many references to gentlemanly fashion, such as “oxfords, not brogues” (oxfords are plain, while brogues have the wingtip design) and the importance of a well tailored suit. In fact, the suits in the universe of the film were even bulletproof! Here, I show off two outfits inspired by two characters from the film: Galahad and Merlin.
The “Battle of Los Angeles” is one that is shrouded in controversy. In late February, 1942 there was a rumored enemy attack which resulted in machine gun and anti-aircraft guns being fired which resulted in panic and conspiracies. However, in 2015 it’s simply an event to celebrate veterans, the armed forces, and the 1940’s. At the event, I saw vintage collectors, reenactors, performers, and just normal people getting into the vintage spirit. Here, we show off some of the best looks from the event!
This week’s Wearable Woman Wednesday features the dazzling Kelly!
