Some of the best menswear I’ve come to own has been some form of custom: MTO, MTM, and Bespoke. Despite it being the “endgame” of a classic wardrobe, it’s still a simultaneously aspirational and anxiety inducing thing to go through.

It’s been a while since I’ve had trousers made for me. MTO to be precise, but hey, who’s askin?
It’s always nice to treat yourself for a pair of custom trousers. Today, we review my latest purchase: chocolate brown peached cotton from Stóffa.

Recently, I made a point to try out a MTM suit by Indochino, a custom suiting and shirt company started in 2007. I have seen other reviews of this service by Articles of Style, Dappered, and even the Young and Fine Gentleman. To try it out for myself, I saved up a couple hundred bucks and purchased a suit, made from the measurements I provided.
Now this review was written a while ago, since I have worn this suit (after tailoring) many, many, many times. This review shows the original, unaltered garment that I received right out of the box.
This weekend I was able to go to the 2015 Vintage Fashion Expo in Downtown Los Angeles. Vintage fashion is a personal hobby of mine. While I do love wearing modern clothes, there is something about the cut and patterns of the 1920s-1950’s that interest me. So this weekend, I went to the Expo wearing one of my favourite and most unique vintage pieces. I was also able to snap a few shots of people’s fashion that I enjoyed!
