Let Your Pants Keep You Cool
A lot of guys make the misconception that all suit (or dress pants) are the same. They believe that these pants are always thick and itchy, which leads to men not dressing very well during the summer. I’ve seen so many guys in shorts and sandals that it makes me sick! Hot weather doesn’t give you an excuse to dress badly. Sure you don’t have to wear a jacket or suit all the time, but pants are required in almost any situation. So in this post, I’m going to talk about a few pairs of pants that I love wearing in the summer because they look great and they’re freaking comfortable as hell. Apparently men prefer comfort over style, so why can’t you have both? Read More

Your Necktie Knot

I hope this will be a short article because I tend to see guys tie their necktie wrong.
Even if you’ve got a great outfit, your tie knot can make or break it. Read More
Styles of Lapels
For those of you who don’t know, lapels are the collar-like part of your suit jacket or blazer. Just like ties, shirts, and fabrics, lapels are another way for you to be different and show off your personality, since lapels come in a variety of styles. In this article, we’re going to look at some of these styles so you can find the ones you like!
Wearing a Tie Bar
I’ve been waiting a long time to talk about what I believe is the most abused and incorrectly worn pieces of menswear. Guys have worn tie bars in an attempt to look classy ever since Mad Men revived the modern suit look seven years ago. Many times, guys fail because they simply don’t know how a tie bar is supposed to work. That’s where my article comes to the rescue.
Suiting Up: Buttoning Your Jacket
It’s about dang time I talked about this. You’d think I wouldn’t have to dedicate an entire post to this but I guess I’m going to have to. In this article we explore just how you’re supposed to button your suit jacket or blazer. It’s really simple.
How and Where To Buy Clothes
A question I get asked most often is where I get all my clothes. The second most asked question is how do I afford it. While its true dressing well can be expensive, it’s only expensive when you go for high end products and never shop sales. Here, I’m going to explain to you some of the tricks of the trade I’ve used to amass my wardrobe. Just remember that my style is very affordable.
Suiting Up – The Vest
Continuing my series on educating, I’m going to talk about the vest. Thanks to hipsters and Indie bands, the vest has risen in popularity as of late and guys tend to prefer wearing it instead of the suit jacket or blazer. Now, there’s nothing wrong with vests, but you should learn how to wear it correctly in order to fully pull it off.
What I Wish I Knew

Look at the picture above. Jeremiah, on the right, looks like how I dress now, and I look like a guy who has no idea what he’s doing. I just slapped on some colors together with no regard to how it clashes or flows. People assume that I’ve always been stylish and always knew how to dress up, but they’re dead wrong. When I first came to college, I wore shorts and tee shirts and was a freshman who had no sense of identity and no sense of style. Eventually I realized that since I’m in college, I can be who I want to be and dress how I want to dress. It took a while, but I’m still not there yet. I’m constantly trying new things, tailoring my clothes, and I’m in this journey of self discovery with my style. However, there are a few things that I’ve learned since my freshman year that would’ve saved me so much time in being who I am.
