I finally made a list of my favorite menswear spots I go to here in Southern California. I may not buy anything every time, but it’s always great to check in and see how Menswear is doing!
Visiting Bryceland’s was an incredible experience because it allowed me not only to see the store which has inspired me so much in recent years, but also because of the opportunity to meet one of my style icons.
I can only hope that I acted as chill as I thought I was being.
“Fuck Jetlag” was what I exclaimed on the way to a party at the Wellema Hat Co, which was literally the day after I came back from Japan. It was worth being extremely sleepy by the end of the event; it was a bunch of fun and a great way to mark my return to the States.
I also stayed up editing these pictures, so I hate myself.
It never really rains here in Los Angeles. But when it does, I have a definite love/hate relationship with the precipitation.
The past few weeks of rain inspired me to finally write about it!
On a seemingly random Tuesday, a small group of people got to experience Bryceland’s wares for the first time outside of Tokyo and Hong Kong. All thanks to a surprise visit from Kenji Cheung.
As fall approaches, it’s about time that we talked about this classic piece of headwear. Apparently, going from an almost-full on rejection to a newfound appreciation is the theme of this blog!Read More
We talked about doing interviews and features a long time ago, and I’m glad to finally bring that to the blog. Our first guest is Cody Wellema, of the Wellema Hat Co., who has an atelier that is literally five minutes from where I live.
Long post due to pictures!
Okay, maybe I should stop complaining about the lack of the cool menswear events here in LA because I went to a great one this past weekend at the Wellema Hat Co.
I loved this look, so I replicated it.
