My Drake’s MTO Tie
The Wellema Hat Co.

We talked about doing interviews and features a long time ago, and I’m glad to finally bring that to the blog. Our first guest is Cody Wellema, of the Wellema Hat Co., who has an atelier that is literally five minutes from where I live.

Purchased on eBay: The 1960’s Ivy Suit

A lot of people don’t like buying clothes from eBay. Sellers don’t often provide accurate measurements, they don’t accept returns, and sometimes the items are just not what you expected. However, I don’t believe that this should bar you from trying to buy on eBay. You might be able to find something awesome, like I did with my “new” 1960’s ivy suit.
Indochino: A Made to Measure Review
Please note that this review was updated in a 2nd article. Click here to see it!
Recently, I made a point to try out a MTM suit by Indochino, a custom suiting and shirt company started in 2007. I have seen other reviews of this service by Articles of Style, Dappered, and even the Young and Fine Gentleman. To try it out for myself, I saved up a couple hundred bucks and purchased a suit, made from the measurements I provided.
Now this review was written a while ago, since I have worn this suit (after tailoring) many, many, many times. This review shows the original, unaltered garment that I received right out of the box.
Styles of the 2015 Vintage Fashion Expo
This weekend I was able to go to the 2015 Vintage Fashion Expo in Downtown Los Angeles. Vintage fashion is a personal hobby of mine. While I do love wearing modern clothes, there is something about the cut and patterns of the 1920s-1950’s that interest me. So this weekend, I went to the Expo wearing one of my favourite and most unique vintage pieces. I was also able to snap a few shots of people’s fashion that I enjoyed!
