I always advocate trying to make menswear look natural and easy by taking dorky pictures. Especially if it’s in the cool, LA Arts District. It’s just nice to be dressed up with your friends, acting like yourselves instead of as models who are paid to hold a bottle of soda.

This past weekend, I attended the second Gooch Collective event as both a normal attendee and as their impromptu photographer. I can always count on these talented brothers to get me out of the house on a weekend.

In a continuation of last year, I was invited to the latest Dapper Day x LACMA event! This time they centered the festivities around their Chagall exhibit: fantasies for the stage.
Our Casual Style at the Walt Disney Concert Hall
The last time I went into downtown Los Angeles, I shot some new friends and wore some classic menswear, ranging from ivy style to a modern interpretation of 1930’s tailoring. However, I decided to change things up this time. I thought I would be fun to show more of our casual side, this time even more dressed down than our previous post on vintage casual. Our plans for the Broad didn’t work out, so we were able to explore and shoot next door at the wonderfully photogenic Walt Disney Concert Hall.
