Tweed is Perfect for Fall

There’s nothing more fall than tweed! This past weekend, I was able to enjoy not only a dinner with my family but with my friends. My outfit for the family party was casual, but I was able to break out the old tweed suit for a dinner party hosted by my pals, Spencer and Jay. Us three got into the spirit of fall by wearing some dope tweed outfits! We’ve got all three variations of tweed in here: herringbone, fleck, and glen plaid! Check them out.
The Basic Green Jacket
Last time we talked about interesting ways to start layering up for fall. No one really double-layers their cardigan, dons a turtle neck, or wears a grandpa blazer, so I suggested these tips to try and add some pop to your fall/winter wardrobe. But this next article is going to take a page from the ladies. Its time that more guys start wearing the Basic Green Jacket.
Branding Yourself at Meet the Firms
Every year, La Sierra University hosts a Meet the Firms Night, an event where business and students get to interact and develop their networks. Unfortunately, people come to the event wearing the most basic corporate attire, students and businesses included. However, there were some individuals who stood out to me among the sea of boring black suits. Kudos to these guys for being able to look stylish and professional, as they handed out resumes for potential jobs or advertised their business to the people in attendance.
Vintage Pants are Not Baggy

Every time I talk about fashion with someone, vintage clothes always come up. One of the questions I’m always asked is “Why do you wear such baggy pants?” People always assume that vintage trousers are baggy because they’re thinking of the zoot suit, which was popularized by cultural phenomena. This is simply not the case.
WHAT ARE THOSE?!?!?!

I’m going to start a new feature: reviews! I’ll talk about my latest purchase and throw on a quick outfit to show it off! So for my first review I give you the Nike Killshot by J. Crew. Read More
An Art Deco Cruise
Before airplanes and road trips took over America, the cruise was the premier vacation. You get to sail to exotic places while dining with the captain, play shuffleboard with your neighbors, or simply take a stroll on the deck to gaze upon the starlight reflected on the sea. Back then, passengers didn’t wear oversized hawaiian shirts or lengthy board shorts. In the 1930s, people wore their very best while on vacation. They had casual jackets and pants that today would look too dressy, for even the office. Keeping with tradition, Spencer and I wore our Sunday best for a little Art Deco cruise on the grand Queen Mary. Read More
Let Your Pants Keep You Cool
A lot of guys make the misconception that all suit (or dress pants) are the same. They believe that these pants are always thick and itchy, which leads to men not dressing very well during the summer. I’ve seen so many guys in shorts and sandals that it makes me sick! Hot weather doesn’t give you an excuse to dress badly. Sure you don’t have to wear a jacket or suit all the time, but pants are required in almost any situation. So in this post, I’m going to talk about a few pairs of pants that I love wearing in the summer because they look great and they’re freaking comfortable as hell. Apparently men prefer comfort over style, so why can’t you have both? Read More
