Snapshots at the Dapper Day Spring 2019 Expo
Even though we don’t go into the parks anymore, we can always spare sometime to get dressed up for the original Dapper Day (at the expo, that is).

For the first time, we go to a LACMA x Dapper Day event in the evening. It was certainly a great way to end the first month of 2019!
Long story short, these events just get better and better. You need to join us!
A few weekends ago, we went to the PTO Holiday Market and spent the evening in Little Tokyo.
Honestly, these posts are just an excuse to show off some silly photography of the LA menswear scene. But you like that, don’t you?

Apart from masturbation, there are a bunch of ways that you can have fun with socks, classic menswear included. We just happen to prefer the solid, colorful ones over the obnoxious novelty ones. Read More
This ain’t sponsored, I just really like this thing.
Nothing says grandpa or old-man style like a sleeveless cardigan. And that’s exactly what I want, so I bought one!
We’ve been talking about eBay a lot lately, thanks to the 3 for $75 deal and the recent vintage Brooks Brothers sack suit. Even though eBay is highly curated (which makes it easy to find cool vintage pieces), nothing beats the thrill of hunting for cool stuff at thrift stores like Goodwill or Savers. My latest pick up was this amazing, almost-deadstock olive green sack jacket!
While I have gotten extremely lucky buying suits at Goodwill, eBay always seems to hold up, especially if you want something ivy! Unlike 1930’s suits or modern Ring Jacket suits, vintage pieces from the 1960s-1970s tends to be fairly cheap and readily available. This amazing mid-to-late 1960s suit from Brooks Brothers is no exception and perfect for spring! I actually got this suit done a while ago and only recently got around to shooting it now. Read More

I’m an LA native, but I don’t take advantage of it. I’ve been to LACMA and a few other cool spots, but never the Broad, which is right in Downtown LA near the Walt Disney Concert Hall and MOCA. Seeing as I had a free day with Anthony (who is originally from D.C and had never been to the West Coast), I decided to take him there to do some shooting and look at some fantastic artwork. Luckily, we were also joined by classic style enthusiasts Jacob and Nicholas. The resultant pictures were amazing.
