I wasn’t planning on doing a full blog post today, but the fact that everyone looked great and that there was a garden in the park warranted a need for one! Here, we show you some basic picnic styles on everyone! Before, “American sportswear” was the term for clothes that were meant to be worn casually. Now, you can literally wear anything everywhere. So check out what everyone brought to the table! Each person’s outfits really shows their personal style.
It’s time to put away the coats and scarves, because spring is finally here! Even though the heat is slowly picking up, it’s still pretty windy out there, ensuring some chilly nights. This doesn’t mean you have to dress down, however; look at this as an opportunity to try some new looks! Today, the team brings you some great outfits to break out this Spring!
I love when someone has not just one style, but a variety of different styles. Antonella is no exception. When I first got to know her, I was surprised that she was actually interested in vintage fashion. As we kept talking I realized that she was a fellow fashionista and I’m glad we finally get to have her as our Wearable Women Wednesday! In this edition, we get to feature three distinctly different outfits from Antonella to show that her style isn’t confined to just one type.
One big question I get asked often is “do you even wear t-shirts”. Usually the question implies two things: that I am incapable of dressing down and that a t-shirt is reserved for being ultra-casual or lazy. This post is designed to tell you that this isn’t the case. A t-shirt isn’t just for “bum days” or athletic wear; this important piece of clothing can be dressed down or dressed up at will and will always help you look fantastic. Today, we will talk about how a t-shirt supposed to fit and show you eight different ways you can get the most out of it.
I don’t wear suits everyday, yet most people associate me with them. This is true of Vivianna; she’s often associated with dark colours. In fact, she was in our Campus Search Tuesday pulling off an all-black look. But she doesn’t do it often. Vivianna isn’t afraid to break out of what people expect of her and that’s why she’s this weeks Wearable Women Wednesday.
Welcome back everyone! Sorry we’ve been lagging with content as of recently, but we’re back this week with the first Campus Search Tuesday of the quarter! Check it out to see if you made it!
I normally don’t need help finding clothes that suit me, because I think I know what works best for me. What’s interesting, however, is learning what other people think looks good on you. Everybody has got opinions and sometimes its best to use them and broaden your sartorial horizons. That’s where Trunk Club comes in. It’s a mens outfitting service that sends you clothes based on your personal style to try on at home and keep what you like. After chatting with Emily, my personal Trunk Club stylist my first trunk came in.
Here, Abigael shows us how to dress nicely in the increasingly hot L.A weather!
Everyone had those “color block” days in high school. Heck, it carries over today. It’s easy just picking all of the same color and wearing it to class to give a monochromatic look. Here we explore taking those color block ideas and turning them into something that can be mature and cool to wear around your campus! Just remember two main ideas when pulling this off:
1. Wear differing shades in your articles of clothing
2. Use patterns to set each piece apart!
Part Two is now here! Here we look at some of the fashions in the afternoon as well as in the the Dapper Day Expo in the Grand Californian! We even had the chance to take a picture with Justin Jorgensen, the creator of Dapper Day!
