I normally don’t need help finding clothes that suit me, because I think I know what works best for me. What’s interesting, however, is learning what other people think looks good on you. Everybody has got opinions and sometimes its best to use them and broaden your sartorial horizons. That’s where Trunk Club comes in. It’s a mens outfitting service that sends you clothes based on your personal style to try on at home and keep what you like. After chatting with Emily, my personal Trunk Club stylist my first trunk came in.
Everyone had those “color block” days in high school. Heck, it carries over today. It’s easy just picking all of the same color and wearing it to class to give a monochromatic look. Here we explore taking those color block ideas and turning them into something that can be mature and cool to wear around your campus! Just remember two main ideas when pulling this off:
1. Wear differing shades in your articles of clothing
2. Use patterns to set each piece apart!
Part Two is now here! Here we look at some of the fashions in the afternoon as well as in the the Dapper Day Expo in the Grand Californian! We even had the chance to take a picture with Justin Jorgensen, the creator of Dapper Day!
Here it is. The most well dressed bi-annual event of the year: Dapper Day. This is a day where people go to disneyland dressed to the nines, whether that be through disneybounding (where you dress as a disney character in normal clothes), going vintage, or just being classy! Here’s the first part of some of our favourite outfits!

A few weeks ago, I was able to watch Kingsman, a British spy/comedy movie. In the movie, Colin Firth’s character “Galahad” (his Kingsman codename), repeatedly said “manners maketh man” before he kicked some bad guy butt. Throughout the film, there were many references to gentlemanly fashion, such as “oxfords, not brogues” (oxfords are plain, while brogues have the wingtip design) and the importance of a well tailored suit. In fact, the suits in the universe of the film were even bulletproof! Here, I show off two outfits inspired by two characters from the film: Galahad and Merlin.
This week’s Wearable Woman Wednesday features the dazzling Kelly!
