Dapper Day is the best bi-annual event of the year. It’s a day where you get to show up to the Disneyland park instyle, whether its vintage or modern! As expected, Spencer and I strolled around in our vintage outfits. It’s been a while since we’ve seen some other vintage styles! Luckily, I was invited to McGinty’s in Pasadena for a preview opening of their new menswear section. Apparently, all of this stuff has been kept in storage containers for 14 years and now we got to take a look! Even though there was some awesome stuff for sale, the guys that went didn’t look too shabby either! Here’s some great looks!

Dapper Day is a bi-annual event that takes place at Disneyland and Disneyworld. As annual pass holders, Tim and I are always there every year and this time we brought along our friend Spencer! Now, Dapper Day was inspired by the fact that concept art of Disneyland was made in the 1950’s and back in those days, people still dressed up! For our outfits, we decided to go a bit earlier and be the most dapper and well dressed we could be.
The “Battle of Los Angeles” is one that is shrouded in controversy. In late February, 1942 there was a rumored enemy attack which resulted in machine gun and anti-aircraft guns being fired which resulted in panic and conspiracies. However, in 2015 it’s simply an event to celebrate veterans, the armed forces, and the 1940’s. At the event, I saw vintage collectors, reenactors, performers, and just normal people getting into the vintage spirit. Here, we show off some of the best looks from the event!
This weekend I was able to go to the 2015 Vintage Fashion Expo in Downtown Los Angeles. Vintage fashion is a personal hobby of mine. While I do love wearing modern clothes, there is something about the cut and patterns of the 1920s-1950’s that interest me. So this weekend, I went to the Expo wearing one of my favourite and most unique vintage pieces. I was also able to snap a few shots of people’s fashion that I enjoyed!
